Fill-In-The-Blank activities within course content
I believe the creation of fill-in-the-blank activities, with word banks, would be beneficial for students to engage in the reading, and offer data points for instructors.
If only a single word word bank, or a set of words, learners would be required to type the word (term or concept), or drag-and-drop the item to remind students of a focus point of the reading passage, page, or topic.
Hello Derek,
In the new CCNA curricula, we are adding Fill In the Blank items to the chapter quizzes. In addition, we are adding a Syntax Checker to enable students to practice entering commands in the CLI correctly. We also continue to have drag and drop items within the chapter and in the quizzes for comprehension reinforcement and self-check of key points within a topic and chapter.
We will continue to monitor uservoice and other customer feedback mechanisms to see if more FIB is a priority for our instructors.
Thank you for sharing your idea!
