The instructor should have the option to choose the way students may contact him ether by the internal mailing system or an external mail
The only thing I need the internal Mail is to send mail to all of my students. When studens have a problem or a question, they should ask me via an external mail. There is no need for another mailing system within canvas. So I need at least the option, that studens can´t send me mail via nethole.
If I only would ask students not to use it, there are always enough Students ignoring my request.

Martin, thanks for the feedback. One suggestion is to set your notification preferences so that emails from NetSpace are directed to your external mail. You can access the notification preferences from the user profile page. Click on Change Classroom Notifications. Hope that helps!
