Increase number of attempts for low level courses
Hi,
Re: Get Connected and Introduction to Cybersecurity.
I would ideally like to be able to set 5 attempts if possible for my 13-14 year old's who are the majority of our students (300+). Some have special education needs and require the support and opportunity of additional attempts.
Many Thanks
Regards
Dave
We appreciate your feedback on this idea. The number of attempts has been increased to 10.

it is appropriate, it allows them (ideally) to develop greater mastery over the subject, but there is another percentage (really) that will be entrusted and studied at the last minute ... but for the majority (who is interested) it will be a good opportunity to master the knowledge.

I agree. More attempts increases Mastery of the material.
Cyber Security should become "basic" knowledge of everyone, like ABCs and 123s.

The more and more i re-attempt similar content, i realize that what i thought i knew seems new and hence Mastery. I absolutely agree with a number of attempts. Yes yes yes

From a pure learning perspective, Practice does make perfect. Someone could argue that you're learning to take a test. But more importantly, All the students I have observed in the multiple attempts group is, given a chance, a student will repeat until mastered, that's a GOOD thing, not a bad thing.
multiple attempts on any learning activity = "repetition is the key to mastery" = "practice makes perfect" = a student that is better prepared, and remembers, and retains information. It's a good thing. I personally believe that for learning, anyone would benefit. -

This is an excellent idea that will help the students to enhance their knowledge from previous mistakes.
I've tried something similar to this to BSc students and they found it very helpful.
I hope it works for you.
