Re-enabling incomplete assessments
I had 14 students taking a final theory test for CCNP ROUTE and a couple of them finished the test but could not submit their answers. Clicking on the submit did nothing and the only option I had was to re-enable the test. When they refreshed their screen, they lost all of their answers. Should it not instead just allowed them to continue from where they left off?
If not, what other options are there to deal with situations where due to system, network or browser error the student is unable to submit an exam?
Thank you.
Hi Munther,
Thank you for reaching out.
Here are a couple of suggestions, please ensure there are not multiple browser windows open and the students are using a supported browser.
If this happens again, please contact the Helpdesk immediately to log a ticket with the following information:

Exam
Time Submitted but Failed
Browser/OS
How Much Time was Left on the Exam
Explain in more detail what: not being able to submit means. Did the Submit button not work? Did the Grade Assessment button not work? Did they get an error?
It would actually be best if the exam is left un-submitted, so the problem can be worked on and determined if the database saved the answers and where the problem might be. If leaving it incomplete is possible, this would be better in troubleshooting.
Again, thank you for your comment and I apologize for the problems your students had submitting their exams.

I did my chapter 7 exam but after finishing, I didn't get my grade.
It says "instructor must re-enable" and it doesn't seem to work even after my instructor had tried. How do i get my grade to reflect?
if not possible, how do we re-enable so that i can re-sit the same exam?thanks.
