I was prepping a course that begins next Tuesday and tried schedule exam activations for next week to save time in class. The activate exams option wasn't available (only "View Assessments"). I thought that might be because the start date is next week, so I went into course settings change the start date and discovered that it was grayed out. I am the instructor for the course and the academy success lead.

In past semesters I have also occasionally extended a course to accommodate a student with a valid reason.

How can we change the dates of a course?
