Add the Sections feature to Canvas
Sections allow the instructor to create one course but divide students into Sections/Periods/Groups. This will allow you to activate exams, add assignments, make announcements etc. only once but apply them to all everyone. In the gradebook for example, you can view all students or just by sections. Thanks for you suggestion. Short term, we will not be able to implement this change. We will look into this feature as we implement future changes to our system.

I totally agree. The feature is available, but not on the NetAcad courses. At the worse, which I do not think it is possible, allow the grade book to be sorted by groups. This should not have an impact on the assessments as previously stated in one of these posts.
