Make Networking Essentials a self-enrol course on Netacad
As Networking Essentials is not certification focussed and organisations using it are focussed on engagement, development and mastery via this introductory concepts course.
Could we have 'self-enrol' added to the add students section to enable a more scalable and flexible offer.

Thank you for the suggestion. We do agree this would be a good enhancement. We will not be able to implement in the immediate future so we are arching this suggestion for now. We will keep this in mind for future updates.

Students, Username
The Students' screen name or username should still be in the instructor enrollment page incase a student cant remember his/her username or cant have access to the email again...please, instructors should still have access to students' screenname.. Thanks
14 votesThanks for the feedback. Unfortunately we will not be able to implement the suggestion at this time. The student can login using their email address and password, even if the screen name is not known.

Adding self-enrollment option to more courses
Toronto Public Library is considering to offer Be Your Own Boss and NDG Linux Essential, along side with 5 other courses. The other five courses all have the self-enrollment option and it would be great that this feature is available in Be Your Own Boss and NDG Linux Essential as well. This will make it a lot easier for our learners to register.

Inactive student
If we enroll student in class and after 2 module completion student freeze or drop the course and he will be show inactive in other 3rd and 4th module in the class. This impact on the academy performance. Solution of this problem is needed. In old view this is not happened.

Repair import-export students list via CSV
I just exported a CSV from a Sem.1 Class, and imported it in a Sem.2 Class. The format of the file was claimed to be incorrect (Name longer than 72 chars, etc), so it did not work. Please fix it...

Drop / Withdraw option added to roster
To be able to indicate a student dropped/withdrew from a class and the date.
Right now the student is either in the class roster, or delete from roster. But as a faculty member, if they withdraw, I need to keep grades to show what they did up to the point of withdraw. "Drop" Would be nice to have in the list.

All the students are not having Last Name in such case unable to upload CSV file. make First Name mandatory

I need a function to show all courses of a student.
Entering or selecting the user in userlist and then
show me the courses.

A new feature was added in the new “I’m Teaching” called “Student Lookup”. This will allow you to find a student you have taught and review all of the courses they have been enrolled in with you. Due to privacy policies we can only provide you with the courses they have taken with you.

name list with completed course view
Provide a facility to see the all students names list with teh academy courses completed status just similar to grade sheet format; with a tick and cross mark so that we can encourage student to complate by seeing it; it is very difficult to see form individual class and now a days student list also not appearing in concluded class so it is very difficult to see

keep the students name list even after concluding class
after concluding class we are unable to see students list; please make provision to see students name list in concluded class list; this feature was available in previous verson but now it is not there; we need a list to see who all completed; its is difficult to trace who are all completed in a year

We recommend instructors do not hard conclude courses. Instead, simply set the end date of the course as appropriate. Check out the “Try new version” which allows you to easily filter by In-Progress and Ended courses. Ended courses, which are past the end date, allow full access to enrollment details, grades, etc.
In addition, a new feature was added to the course details in the new “I’m Teaching” view which will allow you to search for a student you previously taught and see what course they have completed with you.

need column for branch details
i am enrolling student from different disciplines for a course , they aredoing common course; need a column to branch name while registering.

integrating the students photos at the time of enrollment.
My idea is to integrate the student’s photos at the time of enrollment; this will makes lot easier to identify every student uniquely and if possible the same photo can be printed on course completion certificates.
1 voteWe have streamlined our enrollment process to minimize the time needed to register. The student can add their photo at a later time if wanted. Unfortunately, we will not be able to implement this suggestion at this time.

If the only way to bulk add students is to upload a CSV, could we at least get a way to download all of the students in CSV format?

assign group to student
once all student are on my class, have the ability to group students y several groups selecting several student at once.
Actually need to select student per student and add to a group.
this referal principally to Virtual Academies.

Enrolled Students set at 30 Items per page (instead of 20)
In the Enrolled Students ("Edit course details" page) can you raise the default from 20 to 30 "Items per Page". Many of our classes have more than 20 students, but none have more than 30.
The "Items per page" can be changed, but since it doesn't hold the setting after you leave the page, you have to reset it again and again or go from Page 1 to 2.
30 just seems like a better default.

Thank you again for your suggestion. In the new version of the teach tab (please click “Try New Version” to see the changes) the default is now 15. A search feature was also added to help instructors when looking for one student.

Make firstname surname editable by instructor
So if we make a mistake we can fix it without having to delete the student and add them again. Saving the student from having to do the registration process again.

Thank you for the suggestion. All Students have the ability to change their name once they log into the site from their profile page. A new account should not have to be created for the student.

Importing students from other clases
There is an option to enroll existing students from previus courses, the problem is that it is posible only if I teached that class, if I didn't (the case most of time) there is no way. Why not let me choose from all the courses in my institution?

Enrollment to higher modules
Why netspace permits to enroll students to higher modules without completing lower modules.
Ex: Without completing CCNA R&S module 1, enrolling to module 2 may be prevented.
