  4. Problem with Exam Voucher

    I have been trying to get help with a problem with a student voucher for the CCENT exam and I can't get any help. I submitted two support tickets. The online chat does not work. I tried calling 1-877-404-3929 for support and it is always busy. I contacted my regional director and she told me to go to support chat (which isn't working) I am pulling my hair out trying to get someone to help with this problem to no avail.   5. Error in Scaling Networks 7.4.1.2

    The slide on https://static-course-assets.s3.amazonaws.com/ScaN50ENU/module7/index.html#7.4.1.2 shows that EIGRP for IPv4 supports plain text and MD5 both. Cisco's official position is that is supports MD5 only http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/ios-xml/ios/iproute_eigrp/configuration/12-4t/Configuring_EIGRP.html#GUID-04640E37-3385-4EF0-8782-F4EDCAEBFA0E.

  6. Fix resistance in ITEv6 question 1.1.1.4

    The question states: There are 3.3V passing through an orange power supply cable, and there are 0.025 ohms of resistance in the orange wire. How much power is supplied to the orange wire by the power supply?

    The instructor answer page states "P = V2/R = 3.3V X 3.3V/.25ohms = 43.56W." Following the question the answer should be 435.6 watts.

    Fix the question to read .25 ohms versus .025 ohms.

  7. Online Materials of Introduction of IoE

    I find the online materials of Introduction of IoE very informative with various formats. However, all materials except for the videos are printed in Chinese which slows down my speed of reading as I'm not used to reading computer jargons in Chinese.

    Luckily, there is an English version for the post-assessment.

    It is hoped that there is an English version for the course materials.

  10. Poor or bad translations of the CCNA R&S: Scaling Networks - Spanish - 5.03 Exams

    It seems that translators were using Google Translate when they were translating the Exams Questions and Answers for the "CCNA R&S: Scaling Networks - Spanish Curriculum". I can help in fixing this problem, for free, since Spanish is my native language. Please, tell me how can I do help?

  11. Labs in Semester 3 Chapter 2 - HSRP and GLBP

    More detail needs to be included in this lab and section. They don't allow the timers to be manipulated to show the delay changes in recovery. Also switch and router interfaces need to be swapped from auto configurations to manual duplex and speed settings. Auto sensing puts a huge kink in recovery. After having students research and assisting we have gotten the packet loss on link failures down to virtually zero packet loss! This is what the end user or customer would want to see not 2, 4, 8 packet loss like was being experienced in default lab configuration.

  12. Asked to Login a second time in curriculum

    When you login to the online R&S curriculum (Scaling Networks, for example), click Launch Content, then Launch a chapter to open the online text. Once the second window opens, the graphics and any activities on the right aren't shown until after you click "Login" again. Since you have already logged in, you shouldn't be prompted to login a second time.

    I reported this issue and development's response is below:

  13. New course offline file

    In new offline curriculum of R/S, it seems more issue while opening index file. We are getting more complains from students while opening this file. When they open this file, the picture and animation video are not displayed. We gave solution for students by adding IE tab in chrome and disabling the flash in mozilla. It did work for ITN course. Except this, while opening other course' index file same problem still persists. So need your guidelines on this.

    The Lab of Module I, Networking basic, Activity 1.4.5 , Chapter 1, the URL Show in the activity (www.sans.org), dont have the option Top 20 List.At not exist this top 20 List, the CSV of one of 20 List choice , dont founded for make the Lab.

  15. Fix your Packet tracers

    I have found problems in the Packet Tracers which I hoped would not appear with the new curicullum. PT 9.3.1.4 shows an address space of 2001:DB:ACAD:00C8::0/64 but the actual PT is address 2001:DB8:ACAD:00C8::0/64.

    PT 9.1.4.6 will not allow access to R2 in the packet tracer itself so the lesson can never be completed.

    It is hard to teach when the materials have errors.

  17. Chapter 9

    Some explanation of Classful (A BC D) & Private addressing would be helpful. I supplemented my presentation as it wasn't in the curriculum. I think these concepts are key to understanding Classful vs Classless addressing.

  18. That Quiz has been deleted

    I clicked on "ITE 5.0 Chapter 1 Quiz". Suddenly a red message occured at the top of the screen (see attachment).
    "That Quiz had been deleted", but I can do the quiz, so it has not been deleted.
    Maybe I deleted it and loaded it again. I'm not sure. That confuses me.

  19. Introduction to Networks 4.4.3.3 Graphic Error

    The diagram "Characteristics" shows "Collisions exist" This Implies 802.11 is not collision free. There is a corresponding error in chapter exam Question 14 - The answer given is wrong it says re 802.11 "Collisions can exist in the networks."

  20. Error in lint to image

    In the Spanish version of ITE 5.0 currículum, there's an error lo the link of the image to iniciate chapter 0. The imaga don´t appear but link do.
    I solve looking for correct image in Canvas.
