  1. Cisco Chapter Exams - Offered in a School Testing Center

    We should have the ability to password protect Chapter exams.

    We would like to Prevent Cheating, a common topic of concern for netacad assessments.

    We want the same ability the quizzes have in netacad.... Allow an instructor to have the students enter a password in order to take the chapter exam.

    The student will have to come to our testing center at our school, a proctor will walk over and then type in a password for the student to allow the student to be able to take the exam. (the instructor shares the password with the proctors in the testing…

  3. This is a student's idea.

    I wanted to suggest an APP for an audio book for classes. There are times when trying to dedicate the time to read the material is hard to find. If there was an app or audio book to listen to the information it would be a nice option. Thank you.

  4. Sortable students list in Grades

    Canvas has a function to sort students' names in the Grades:

  7. Incluir la lúdica en el aula de clase

    Realizar actividades alternativas dentro del aula, puede promover el aprendizaje de distintos conceptos de manera agradable y lúdica para los estudiantes. Aprender jugando, y porqué no? compitiendo entre ellos. Sobretodo en el primer módulo de CCNA, que involucra muchos conceptos.

    Please, share a comprehensive list of suggested (and possibily free) softwares for CCNA courses (on Win, Linux and Mac OS).

  9. Remove need to sign in for each/every use of Packet Tracer 7.2

    Since Packet Tracer 7.2 has appeared - two issues have occurred

    Every time a student in a class room logs into a computer, they have to log into PT. Reducing teaching time and adding admin load to frustrated teachers. Also - we are trying to work with orgs who wish to use PT for U13 students - we are having to encourage them to use a generic login and work around this new feature.

    For Mac - this screen is now causing many WINE bottlers to crash. We have students and academies who use PT and now have to use…

  10. add new students to existing activations

    When a Student join the class after a Assessment activation is created I must make a new activation for this student. Better is to add the student to an existing activation.

  11. Show number of sessions on the Analytic page

    Currently, the Analytic page only shows number of page views and action taken. It would be useful to know the number of sessions so that we can compare this against other online learning products that normally report number of sessions.

  12. LMS Integration (e.g. Canvas LMS)

    We are very interested in LMS Integration right into the Canvas LMS used at our University.

    Some companies such as TestOut, Skillsoft Practice Labs and more integrate directly into the schools LMS - we use "Canvas" by Instructure and have employed deep links and LTI integrations to simplify the students and faculty access. The company TestOut also uses Canvas and I could not help but notice that Cisco uses Canvas as well. (Wondering if that would make the effort easy)

    • The benefit of the LTI integration is grades automatically come over to the LMS so grading is a snap…

    Thank you for the suggestion. More illustrations will be included in the next major versions of the curricula. As many major version changes will not happen in the next few months we are going to close this idea but please look for this enhancement in the future.

    There is another Share Idea open regarding Course Completion Certificates for Instructors. This is under consideration at this time.

  14. Translate to portuguese PT-PT, at least, the entry level courses contents

    The Portuguese language PT-PT is used by millions of people, not only in Portugal but also in Africa. The Portuguese language PT-BR is very different from the PT-PT version in the field of technology. This is a major learning obstacle for the public I want to reach: young, old and poor people. Therefore I think it is important to make available a Portuguese version of the PT-PT of the basic courses.

  16. Written feedback cell to be in Feedback Form, allowing program improvement

    Adding a small optional area (cell) for students (and Teachers as students in particular) to add written comments to the Feedback Forms. This would allow possible real improvement of the program by helping to overcome the limitation in some materials. Eg. Cyber-Ops Chapter 11, the 'Tor' question has a factual error.

  17. Allow ASC's to Create Courses and Cascade to their Academies (and everyone)

    Often different ASC's work with different educational stakeholders and have proven capability in creating Canvas (or other VLE/MOOC) courses. Where their community would like access and to be able to teach these as supporting content for their students.

    Please consider offering a cascade option for courses created by ASC's with proven experience.

  18. Function for deleting all ended courses

    colleagues would like to have a function -like a btach- where all ended and marked courses could be deleted in one go.

  20. "Submit" Button whan taking an exam

    When you take an exam, you can navigate inside questions with arrows on the left side... Often, students are confused with the button "Submit" on the right, and send the whole questionary before ending it (even if they know what the button does; they just forget because they're concentrated on the exam).... Could you change the wording by "Submit All questions" or "submit whole exam" for exemple....
