  1. CCNAv7 Modules Subject errata

    Looking into CCNAv7 Modules Subjects, I would like to suggest the following on the Portuguese Translation:

    1. Module 2:
      In Portuguese translation the subject of module 2 is "Switch básico e configuração de dispositivo final". But I believe that the best translation would be: "Configuração Básica do Switch e Dispositivos Finais".

    2. Module 5:
      In Portuguese translation the subject of module 5 is "Sistemas de némeros". But the best translation would be: "Sistemas de Numeração".

  4. ENSA PT 5.1.9 has an error

    I tested this Packet Tracer Activity and discovered that the interfaces on R1 are connected backwards. The F0/0 and F0/1 interfaces are connected to the File Server and the Web Server instead of to the LANs. The E0/0/0 and E0/1/0 interfaces are connected to the LANs instead of to the FIle Server and Webserver. I have not figured out how the initial connections could have worked. See attached files for visual references.

    Thank you for posting to Share Idea. This can be done in the New Experience by following the steps below:
    Launch Course
    Click “Grades”
    Click “Setup”
    Go to “Edit” under Actions and select “Edit Settings” under the Category
    Under the section “Grade Category”, click “Show More”
    Under “Aggregation” you will see a link to “Exclude empty grades”

    Note: We are working on an FAQ for this.

  6. Course details

    Under course details, in the classlist, the column width is frozen, I cannot resize it. I am using google chrome as the browser.

  7. [Info] Acclaim Badge - IT Essentials

    To the badge collectors,

    I've found the badge available on the Acclaim website (https://www.youracclaim.com/org/cisco/badge/it-essentials) however after finishing one edition of ITE (course ID 1045389) the badge has not been automatically released, is this badge already working?

  8. Bad grading in Networking Essentials Quizzes

    In the chapter quizzes in Networking Essentials, getting even one question wrong drops the students grade to around 50% for that quiz. How is the being computed? It seems to make no sense.

  9. Networking Essentials, Bad PT in Practice Final

    The Packet Tracer item in the practice final has a list of things for the student to do in order to reach the web server and get the answer for the question. However, there is one thing missing and the student is NOT asked to do it, so they have to troubleshoot the PT in order to get the answer. The problem is that the wireless router has NO IP address on the WAN link.

  10. Bad answer in Networking Essential Quiz

    Networking Essentials, Ch 8 Quiz

    The question, "Fill in the blank:
    Cisco 1941 router have one console port with an RJ-45 interface and a second console port with a ___________ interface."

    Is expecting the answer "USB." The answer in the reading material is "mini USB." This is a poor question for a fill in the blank. I have no problems with "USB" being the answer, but marking it wrong if the student gives the book answer of "mini USB" is wrong. Either both answers should be accepted or this should be a multiple choice question.

  11. Improve Listed Quiz Question

    In Networking Essentials, Quiz Ch 5. The question "Fill in the blank:
    Transport layer ports 1 through ____________ are used to indentify well-known ports."

    The answer you have is "port 1023." However, that is grammatically incorrect and a poor choice with a fill in the blank question. The answer should be "1023." Please note the "s" in "ports" prior to the number "1." This would indicate that ONLY the number is needed in the blank. Also, the number is the relevant part of the answer. Requiring the word "port" makes no sense.

  12. Problems with PKAs in Cybersecurity Essentials.

    Hello Cisco Staff,

    This is a little urgent, it is related to two important labs in this course.

    I have noticed an issue in two PKAs for Cybersecurity Essentials.
    It affects Portuguese (Brasil) and English.

    PKA 6.2.4.4:
    You are not able to finish activity as resilience of equipment is configured, points are not computed for secure boot-image and secure boot-config commands.

    PKA 8.3.1.3:
    Same thing happens here. Resilience commands do not compute to complete the PT score, so it is basically locked up. There is also a password mistake (securesallys vs. securesally) written on text in Portuguese (Brazil) translation. You…

  13. Network Essentials Course fix grade weighting

    Network Essentials is using the new platform, based on Moodle. Moodle has a very difficult grade setup interface. Instructors need to be able to change grade categories from "natural grading" to a weighted method.
    Admin should check: Site Administration > Grades > Grade category settings.
    If "Hide forced settings" option is checked and if "Aggregation" is set to Force, then instructors will not see it anymore in the gradebooks.

    A student here made his final and skills earlier this week, I marked hem as "finished", and I would like to get his letter and certificate for CCNA 3. Why doesn't it work anymore???

    Students may have to click on the “Refresh Status” link on their I’m Learning page or instructors can click on the “Refresh Grades” link in their course details page. This information has been added to the FAQs to help individuals that experience issues. If the letter or certificates are still not available, please contact the Support Desk.

    Note: This will change as we move to the New Platform Experience.

  16. Letters and Certificates, Downloadfile is empty

    I set "Instructor Use Only Assign Student Pass Status" to students.

  17. File System

    Its would be helpful the opportunity to create files or tabs in the platform and inside of a tab or file we can add multiple courses because some time we many groups run at the same time with the same training.

    So into the I´m teaching option, instead of having all courses in list or grid view add an extra view like file or group tab just to have more control

    Thank you for the idea. We have created a search field that can be used to show a group of classes together. For example if you have 5 classes that start with 123, you can search for 123 and all 5 courses will appear for you. In addition, we are working on archiving courses this feature will be added soon. A news article was posted on the 30th of June.

    Please contact the Support Desk if you would like additional information on how best to sort courses.

  18. 有关pt实践技能考试的问题

    你好，我遇到一个问题，请帮忙解决。我开设的是CCNA6.0 R&S Introduction to Networks，之前开启过一次模拟考试里的pt实践技能考试，因为软件问题不能做，网院将问题解决后，我又开启了这个考试，但是学生看到的考试启动界面中出现“教师必须重新启用”的选项，而不是“参加考试”，我添加激活时没有选择需要老师额外批准和重启的选项，并且在激活管理中查看，学生的“已完成尝试次数”和“未完成尝试次数”均为0，这个问题如何处理？

  19. copy quiz from one class to another

    I wish we can be able to copy (export and import) a quiz from one class to another. Because entering the same class twice take a lot of time.

  20. Small Bugs in CCNAv7: SRWE

    I believe there are some small bugs at the plataform of curriculum CCNAv7: SRWE

    Section 1.3.1 Low resolution image.

    Section 1.4.2 The command (banner motd) doesn't accept "$" neither "spaces" when delimiting: #Authorized Access Only!#

    Section 3.3.11 - Syntax Checker - VLAN Configuration
    - After removing VLAN 20 configuration from fa0/18, and setting it into fa0/11, the VLAN20 is reset also to fa0/18.
