Change Grading Scheme
I would like to be able to use a points system instead of weighted percentages for grades. Many of the courses on our campus use a point grading scale of 1000 point, for example. If you would like the final to be 25% of the grade you give it 250 points.
This makes it easier for students to calculate their grades, rather than trying to remember the formula for weighted grades. If a student earns 780 points, then they have a 78% in the class.

filter courses
Would be nice to filter the courses on what you can teach or where there is a teacher qualified. Now I am looking at a course, start filling everything out, and then see that I can't add a teacher.

Availability Dates
Please allow me to either change or hide from the students the posted default availability dates for the exams and content. It confuses the students and frustrated me that I have to always explain the due dates to the students multiple times.

Provide VDS (Exams) & Curriculum Access as LTI
I'd like to see access provided through an LTI so that we can use our existing LMS to deliver Netacad curriculum and exams to students.
This would greatly simplify the user experience for our students not needing to track an additional login, and our instructors not needing to manage another system.
By supporting deep links we could provide only the Cisco resources we want the students to access and only allow them to see what is next on a week-by-week basis - instead of letting them see everything and skipping ahead.

Create links between LMS and Sections in the curricullum
I need to duplicate and customize the existing Module links in the class to sections in the curriculum.

email verification needed at the registration
When a student register on netacad.com currently there is no email verification. If a student make a mistake on his email address while typing (eg. xxxxxx@gmail.com can be typed as xxxxxx@gamil.com) it wont get rejected but get registered. Hence student wont know he has done a mistake at the registration.

Cannot find PPT
Dear Expert,
I will teach CCNA in the coming semester.
I see CCAN R&S v6 in the Portal:

1. Login to NetAcad
2. Click Resources – Course Resources
3. Click appropriate course such as “CCNA R&S: Intro to Networks (version 6)”
4. Click the appropriate language such as EnglishPlease open a Support Ticket if you have additional questions on where items are located.

Module Exams Do Not Show on Calendar
When Module Exams (Modules 1-3, Module 4-7, etc.) are scheduled they should show up in the course calendar. Currently they do not. I have been telling students to keep an eye on the calendar due dates but it exams don't show there, how can they know to do them.

Thank you for posting to share idea. We are not able to implement anything that automatically appears on the calendar for module exams at this time. You can manually create events in the calendar and they will than appear for the students in the upcoming events.

The Bookmark Tab
The book Mark tab on the course is based on cookies! When i student book marks a page in class it will not show when the student logs in to
NETACAD at home. This would be a great thing to fix. So that when they bookmark a page it stays no matter where the student logs in at.thanks

I thik we need to go back to canvas
We need to go back to canvas to give the teachers and students a better learning experience. The classy experience we had raised the academy above no far above the the others. It is sad because now it looks like Cisco is not the leader they are just like any other online learning system. The look of it does not do the great curriculum inside and it is hard to tell Cisco from Palo Alto or HP or Juniper. More importantly my students are lost, they are confused by the layout and lack of direction. Please reconsider the move to…

Instructure is an excellent partner to the Networking Academy and Canvas is a great product. One of its strengths is the smooth and polished user experience. This is a testament to the terrific work of their product team that has been optimizing the experience for a decade.
Nevertheless, the strategic benefits of bringing the course management experience in house outweighed the many fine aspects of Canvas. There are two key reasons that drove this choice:
1. It enables the Networking Academy to expand its global reach. To expand our global reach, the NetAcad platform is transitioning to a federated architecture with multiple instances located across the world. Canvas is unfortunately not available in every region. We could not stay in Canvas while continuing to expand our global reach.
2. It allows the Networking Academy to be more responsive to… -

Instructor will be able to offer in class quizzes on any device using a responsive theme, any question type from the question bank, use timed/not timed questions, grades reported back to the grade book, group quizzing (with a group attendance feature), view student responses in real time to offer in-class discussion about the results, and more!

Netacad go to android/iOS
Many students today are surprised by the lack of a mobile version of Netacad. They want to be mobile and learn the course in a convenient place on their mobile device.

Present activated chapter exams in the course calendar as events to follow
Considering all the courses of the new experience, in particular the CCNA: It would be very useful for the tests of the VDS Assessment Center (chapter tests, final tests, etc.) to appear automatically in the course calendar as future events.

Uploading Online Signature for Certification
Hello,
I suggest giving the instructors the ability to upload a digital/scanned copy of their handwritten signature to be added on the certificates.

Default Assignment Template Needed
When creating assignments, it is very time intensive to edit and create customized assignments. It would be great if we could create a default "assignment" template for each class. (I believe this was suggested previously but did not get enough votes.)

Optimize grade report
It´s is hard to see all grades of one student at the same time.
There is a slide bar at the bottom of the page but it is not practical to view the grades of a specific student.
The columns could be narrower. Currently, there is a lot of empty space in the score table.1 voteThank you for the suggestion. We are unable to implement at this time. previous gradebook ux is better. This new gradebook must apply a better css such as small text and fit box to allow better overview. how about fix the bottom scroller to allow instructor navigate grade for student at top with ease.
