Allow instructors to submit PRs to fix content
Has anyone here ever submitted a content error to the Support Desk? During the process did you ever wonder "hey, why can't I just submit a git pull-request to fix this?"
This just sprung to my mind after I received an email reply just now for an error that I submitted back in April. Turns out, yes, it's a valid error. "This error will be added to the curriculum errata sheet and corrected in the next curriculum refresh. Please check the errata sheet for production dates."
I'm not suggesting that instructors should have access to merge in changes, but it…

Add Linux Computer to Packet Tracer
In teaching Linux, several of my students especially in rural upstate NY, do not have the computer resources on their home computer to run Linux in a virtual box or some type of VM environment. If Linux desktop was in Packet Tracer, they could practice and do their homework at home. Red River was a presenter on the Northeast ASC prof development meeting today and the one technology he pointed out he heard teachers mention was Linux. He said Linux is important to know. I am seeing it as well especially on security audits that my students are doing on…

On PowerPoint Slides...
There is a lot to learn... making sure there are good transitions between slides is critical for best learning. I have noticed at as the new material gets posted... there is a discontinuity between slides which makes teaching difficult.

PT Passwords should be in netacad, not in the community forum
An instructor asked where the password for PT activities for IT-E was, and I didn't know. Turns out it is in the Community Forum, but you have to search for it.
This seems a bit weird. Why would the community have the password? It seems to me it should be where instructors can easily access it.thanks so much

Replace CCNA Sec
This is from on of our supported academies:
Since CCNA Security is going away as a certification, are there any plans to develop an alternate security-focused course aside from Cyberops? I would love to see Netacad offer 300-701, the CCNP Security Core. That way, we can replace the CCNA security with the Security Core course and students can still earn a Specialist designation and/or go on to earn a CCNP-Security.
Thanks,

Attach Power-point Presentations to each chapter
Attach Power-point Presentations without Planning Guide to each chapter for student reference. That will be helpful for studies.
1 votePPTs are available for instructors in a downloadable zip file from the instructor resource area. Sorry, we can’t make these available for students.

Download videos that are embedded in textbook.
It would be good if we could download the videos that are embedded in the textbook. This would make it possible to show them in an offline setting and also put them on presentation slides.
