Assignment Grading Screen
I know this has been brought up before but I’m asking again if CISCO would PLEASE activate the Moodle Document Converter feature so that assignments can be graded in Moodle (See: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dSxxdglCaeE) instead of having to be downloaded, graded, and then feedback files uploaded to Moodle for the student. The current set up is incredibly inefficient and wastes valuable time for instructors.
This feature can easily be added by using Unoconv or the Google Drive Converter in Moodle. (see: https://docs.moodle.org/311/en/Document_converters). Based on my previous experience administering a Moodle installation, the Google Drive Converter seems to be the most stable and efficient.
Please reconsider adding this feature. Instructor time is too valuable to waste.
Thanks.

Thanks for your suggestion. We've looked into this, but the scale of the platform makes this very difficult to implement. Unfortunately, we will not be able to implement your idea at this time.

I don't mean to sound rude, but if Moodle can't scale up to meet the needs of the CISCO program then why are we using it? If it doesn't meet the needs of NetAcademy then we need to find a more suitable LMS platform that does.
An LMS should make the instructors job easier, not more tedious. Moodle is a great open source LMS but with so many features disabled in the setup CISCO has given us, not the least of which is the Annotate Assignment feature, it just makes the workflow for instructors a bigger hassle than it needs to be.
