From one of my supported Academies instructors: "The Moodle participants link shows when the student accessed the course. The "Course Details" link shows only the last time NetAcad was accessed. It would be an issue if we were required to take attendance. Even without having to take attendance, I had an issue with a veteran asking questions about a course and it turned out he had not accessed the course in two months and was asking questions based on LinkedIn videos. I had no way of telling he had not accessed the course. All we need is access by facilitators and instructors to the feature that has always existed in Moodle and was allowed in Canvas. Canvas did not show the access logs like Moodle can, but I could see when the student accessed the course."
