New platform fixes that need to be made, time and date
Assignment dates in the new (Moodle) platform display GMT time instead of local time. Netacad time zone settings don't get applied to Moodle. So, students think they have until 7am (PST) to submit an assignment I have made due at midnight the day before. The instructor view has the correct time zone but student accounts don't so it sneaks up on you. I gave them screenshots.
Another annoyance is that if a student submits an assignment after it is due and you have graded all the assignments, there is no notification feature letting the instructor know it is sitting there waiting to grade.

Timezones should match the individual’s profile page. If this is not happening please open a Support Desk ticket with detailed information on the account seeing GMT time.
We have implemented a new feature that will email the instructor once an assignment is submitted. This should help the instructor to know if an assignment was submitted after the due date.
We are also working on a feature that will allow an instructor to see all assignments that still need to be graded. Please look for this in the next couple of months.
