Cisco Certified Academy Instructor Certifcate
i want to suggest that a certificate bearing the Cisco Certified Academy Instructor be giving to candidates who have successfully completed their training as Cisco Academy Instructors with good standing. here attached is a sample of a certificate i googled from the net as sample. thank you
1 voteThank you for your suggestion on the Cisco Certified Academy Instructor (CCAI) certificate.
The CCAI program ended with Academy Connection and was replaced by the Recognition program for instructors (Instructor Excellence and Instructor Years of Service) and academies. In addition, instructors currently get a certificate after completing their own NetAcad instructor training (except for Instructor Fast Track classes).

Specifically for developers
Where are they, certificates and letters should appear in gradebook for eligible students. Please develop for the user not the technology. The mess that you guys have made over the years does not bear thinking about.
1 voteThank you for the feedback William, Students will be able to access their letters and certificates from their profile once you have passed them from the course. Instructors will be able to access their student’s letters and certificates from the Course Management page, refer to the FAQs and Tutorials page for video tutorials on how to request their certificates/letters.

Thank you for the information. Cisco is currently looking at resources to connect employers to students. Currently they are using Talent Bridge in the United States. They are hoping to expand this to more areas in the future. Please note: The system will never Automatically allow employers to see student information without them signing up due to privacy reasons.

Instructor-led for Self-paced course issues
Some courses ;like "Get Connected", can be created by an instructor. however, the student can enroll him/her self in these courses. Is there a way to manage the self-paced courses if the academy plan to make it as instructor-led only?
Another issue is regarding the certificate, can an instructor add the name and location of the academy in the certificate?3 votesThank you for your suggestions.
The Cisco Policy Team has decided that self-paced courses will continue to be available to all students and will not be managed by academies/instructors. We recommend institutions find ways to advertise the benefits of instructor-led only courses to encourage students to take those classes.
Regarding your certificate question, Cisco has not planned at this time to change the certificate template.

Ability to change certificates language
Hi,
I am IT Essential 5.0 instructor.One group of students already finished a course and Certificate of Completion have been generated automatically in Russian language,because the course language was Russian.I wrote to netspace support team and they answered to me that is not possible to generate a certificates in different language because the course were in Russian language.
I think a posibility of generating Certificates and letters of merit in different languages that course got will be wonderfull for those students which have to find a job in foreighn countries4 votes -
Reminders for discount voucher expiration deadline
can it be possible for us to have a reminder system, whereby our students can start receiving e-mail notifications warning them about their discount voucher expiration date, we almost suffered a waste of vouchers as students were busy preparing for their exams, and at the last minute they realized that they only had 2 days left to save their vouchers, as their netspace accounts contain information about that, I thought they could start receiving notifications as the dead line draws near!!!

Electronic instructor signature, only when I choose to use it.
I have a lot of certificates to sign at the end of a course, as I have a lot of students. I get tired of signing each certificate. I would like to upload an electronic copy of my signature and then apply it to the certificates just before printing, but not make it available for all certificates as I do not want students to be able to download a certificate with my signature.
1 voteJudith, the Certificates are downloaded in PDF format. Once downloaded you will be able to open them in Adobe and add your signature through there. Certificates of Completion earned in the Academy Connection must available for print in NetSpace.
There are many students who lost their old printed Certificates and there is no option to generate them.
It will be great if Certificates of Completion earned in the Academy Connection are available for print in NetSpace.4 votesThere are 2 options to get replacement certificates:
1) the instructor can contact the support desk and request them
2) Students can ask for support on the NetAcad facebook page which is monitored by the support desk.

Academy Connection CCAI or like certificate brought into Cisco Netspace from
When interviewing potential instructors it is nice to know if an instructor was CCAI (Cisco Certified Academy Instructor) and for which course content. I just discovered that Netspace does not have the CCAI. May this concept of CCAI or like be brought into Netspace?

request certificates about completing CCNA course in english if students study course in russian
Can I as instructor request certificates about completing CCNA course in english if students study course in russian? Now i can download certificates in russian just. But we have students from different countries, arabian for example. They want to study in russian, but they need certificates in english.

Thank you for your suggestion. The enhancement team has tried to make it possible to give different options for requesting the certificates and letters. Currently Students will be able to access these from their profile page and Instructors will be able to do this for their Students from the Course Management page. – NetAcad Support

Update the student's name on the certificate when changing it on Network Academy
If there was a mistake in a student's name on the certificate, it will be easier to resolve this issue by syncing the name on the certificate with the student name on the Network Academy website, as the student can correct his/her Netacad name if needed on the profile page at anytime from anywhere.

CCNA IFT Course Completion Certificate
When you complete the CCNA IFT Course and you become a CCNA Instructor it would be a great idea to have a Certificate for your Curriculum Vitae. Thank you
