Instutution student ID or email in gradebook download
It would be very helpful if the institution student ID, screen name, and email was included in the gradebook downlaod. I have used Canvas before, so I know this is possible. I went through the trouble of making sure all of my (130+) students used their college username as their institution ID, and as their username. This was to allow for seamless transition between the Blackboard gradebook and the Netspace gradebook. If people don't want the extra information, it's easy enough to delete after downloading.

This is really needed as currently we have no none editable fields that we can tract in the downloaded grade book. Thus if students change their names and email addresses we have no way of easily being sure who they are in the grade book.
This may seen like trivial problem, but with classes of 100+ Chinese students who use a 'English name' whilst studying in the UK, it is a real problem managing them.

Once I have uploaded a CSV to create a class cohort, my Students can and do edit their profiles to change their names and their email address. It is my responsibility to ensure that marks for summative assessment are accurately taken from the Academy/Netspace gradebook and entered to the institution student summative record. Presently an ID field is included in a gradebook CSV download, however the values do not relate to those stored in the Institution Student ID field.
The Institution Student ID field included in the CSV download of a class gradebook would ensure that there was unique value to identify a student and transfer marks between systems accurately.
