Glossary
Make a course related glossary available for reference throughout all chapters but, obviously, not exams or quizzes
Hello,
I’m not sure if you saw Thanh Le’s comment, so I’m posting it here:
The glossary feature was removed from the CCNA R&S curriculum due to the low level of usage and to allow us to focus our resources on the curriculum, assessments, Packet Tracer activities, and enhancements such as mobile access. We will revisit the prioritization of this feature if it becomes more important to the NetAcad community.
Thank you,
Kimberly

Thanh Le you have got to be kidding. Have you ever taught? In our district we have a committee on curriculum. If any text book does not have a glossary it is rejected. If there was any other supplier of this material your material would be rejected instantly. Look at any good text book what do they have. A good table of contents (index) of what is in the book and a glossary. I suggest you or someone with good teaching experience take charge. Yes I have been a licensed classroom teacher in North Dakota for 39 years. Ours is the largest program in the state and I have recommended to the School Board that Cisco be dropped after this year.

I miss this and the Index. The list you give is nice, but it would be nicer if the students could look up terms.

Yes the glossary was really helpful. I hope it comes back.

Our district just had a professional development day and it was on Common Core Standards.
We broke up in to small groups and what did our director want, a unit of instruction and the glossary of terms that students would be learning in that unit.
Perfect timing on need for glossary. -

If I had any more votes I would add one here.

Agree, someone else posed this also and in my opinion they brushed it off. I hope more vote for this. I am out of votes.
