lock downloading of certificates for students
In the Academy Connection, there was option for enabling students to download certificates. Nowadays in NetSpace the certificates are automatically enabled for downloading from the point of student view.
Some instructors requested the feature of Locking download of the certificates as they want to make sure that they (as instructors) will be only one who will sign on that certificate and therefore they do not want to allow students to download the certificates.
Even if the default policy is to allow downloading of certs from student view, it might be good to provide feature of "locking" download of certificates by students from the instructor administration pages.

Thanks for your feedback. At this point we are not going to consider this request. You always have the option to print the certificates. With the large number of users, we have a wide variety of needs. The current solution prevents students from not being able to access their certificates.

Students should download the certificate only once. as of now they don't feel much importance for the certificates as it can be downloaded any time .
Lock the student downloading the certificate link and let them get the certificate from the concerned Instructor with his/her signature -

I absolute agree with my colleague since my students fell victim of downloading the certificates themselves and the instructors' name was not reflected on their certificates.., even after re-downloading them as instructor. I fully second the suggestion.....

Hello,
I agree absolutely. Some institutions may also have their own rules as to issuing certificates to students. These rules are no longer enforceable with the NetSpace. I definitely second this suggestion and vouch for returning the capability of limiting the access to certificates/letters to instructors only.

In some situations, we need to restrict this access to students. So, this feature is very important.
