errors when creating a course
Hello! I just saw something a little confusing with the new netacad site and wondered if you were taking feedback on any problems with it?
I was just running a connecting networks final test for one of our students who missed the usual date for the test and so took it later than normal. Actually, the course had expired (I didn't notice this). I was able to create the final exam but when the student took it they saw an error message saying they hadn't completed the course feedback form - even though they had. After a period of confusion, we guessed the course might have expired and after fixing that the student was able to complete the test ok.
I agree that when creating a course care should be taken to make sure there is enough time to take the test, however at present the current error stating problems with the feedback form isn't correct. This is compounded by the fact we didn't know about the problem until the student attempted the exam. I understand its never as easy as it seems but it would have been more teacher-friendly if we were alerted to the issue when we tried to create the exam with an error referring to the expired course.

Thanks for the feedback. We will keep this idea for future enhancements to our exam delivery system.
