Create own default activation, batch activation and increase max activation
- I should want to create own default activation.
- I should want to activate all module eaxms in the same time
- There were max activation time 30 days in Discovery 1, byt only 7 days in Discovery 2, others I haven't yet checked :-(
- Connection to system works very very slow, I tried in several places and connection speeds.
I am happy to announce that the Group Activation feature has been delivered and is available for you to use! You will now able to Bulk Activate exams, Manage Activations and Create an Activation Profile. Please view the NEW Activation Tool tutorials for more information.
Thank you for your feedback and patience!

- I would like to be able to activate the same chapter at least for two non overlapping periods of time.

There is problem not only with activation several themes together but in the class if you activate the theme for one student then you can't make "list activation" for other in class only one by one. You can imagine 40 student class and the same tenth clicks which you need to make one theme activation!

30 day batch activation is a great asset that reduces the time and hassle spent on management thus allowing more time to be used for teaching.

Exam activation profiles would be un-necessary if you made the interface for activating an exam less than a 9 step process, and simplified it so that we can simply activate an exam, not sort through a web interface for each piece of the complex relational database you have set up on the back end.

Hi George,
I was able to merge it and the merged ticket vote count increased to 79 by adding your vote. The good news it is a planned fix!
thank you -

I would prefer a solution where I can just drag-and-drop the assement in the Calendar/Syllabus and the Assesment will be activated to that due-date. No more activation would be needed.

Along with being able to activate several modules at one time I also wan the ability to active several students at one time. It is a pain to activate one student, thenhave to go back and activate a second student. This is primarly and issue when students want to make up and exam or missed the originial exam date.

I have the same issue with loading the assessment activation windows; once loaded the activation process is fast. I use Firefox and am in the N. SF Bay Area.

I found activating Module 1's exam for Semester 3 (Switching) to be painless - BUT.... it would definitely be good to be able to activate more than one module exam at a time.

Multiple exam activation no longer possible: We fought for it after the relaunch of Netacad in 2003 or so. Eventually we got it and that was a very good decision. It will cost a lot of more time now to activate exams. I'm using it for homework chapter assessments. I have to activate them over a multiple months period for the students which is now only possible with big efforts.
